DuukaMobile - Terms of Service

Welcome to DuukaMobile ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, accessing, or using DuukaMobile, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
By using DuukaMobile, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, and any applicable platform terms. If you access DuukaMobile through the Apple App Store, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) may also apply.
1. Description of Service
DuukaMobile provides a mobile point-of-sale (POS) and business management application tailored for small to medium-sized retail businesses (such as Duukas, Warungs, and Tiendas). The service includes features for sales tracking, inventory management, customer debt management, expense tracking, and business analytics.
2. Account Registration and Security
- Account Creation: To use our features, you must register using a valid phone number or email address. You agree to provide accurate and complete information.
- Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your OTPs, PINs, and account credentials. DuukaMobile is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your login information.
- Multi-user Accounts: If you create accounts for your employees via our role-based permission system, you are fully responsible for their actions within the app.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
- Free Trial: DuukaMobile may offer a 30-day free trial. Upon expiration, continued access to premium features will require an active subscription.
- Billing: Subscriptions are billed through Google Play Billing or the Apple App Store ("Platform Billing providers"). By subscribing, you agree to the billing practices of these respective platforms.
- Cancellations & Refunds: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your platform's subscription management settings. Refunds are handled in accordance with Google Play and Apple App Store policies.
4. User Data and Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our data collection, storage, usage, and advertising practices are detailed in our Privacy Policy. By using DuukaMobile, you grant us the right to sync your encrypted business data to our cloud infrastructure (Supabase) to enable offline-to-online capabilities and cross-device syncing.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the app's services or cloud infrastructure.
- Upload malicious code or harmful data.
- Violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright or local business regulations).
6. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in DuukaMobile, including its design, code, graphics, and trademarks, are owned by us. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for your internal business operations.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DuukaMobile shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business goodwill, resulting from:
- Your use or inability to use the app.
- System downtime, data loss, or sync failures.
- Unauthorized access to your account.
DuukaMobile serves as a digital ledger. We do not guarantee the collection of customer debts recorded within the app.
8. Service Modifications and Updates
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (or any part thereof) at any time. We also reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at our discretion. We do not notify users of any changes made; it is your responsibility to periodically review this document for updates.
9. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in our company is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
